Network Geek also just happens to be at the intersection of everything that Pownraj is passionate about - art, design, technology, business and social & economic activism.
From being one of the youngest CEOs in the educational startup space to providing networking
education to scores of students, Pown has already shaken up the industry and has surpassed other
institutes to make his venture, by far the most successful training academy in Chennai or Tamil Nadu, so
to speak.
He is not just an accomplished entrepreneur but also an expert tutor – organizing workshops and
sponsoring hackathons across colleges and schools. He has trained more than 2000 students in last 3
years. He has done his specialization in Routing, Network Switching, Network Security & Linux
administration. He believes that knowledge is the greatest gift you can ever provide and that is the
reason why his ideas are not motivated monetarily.
Today, Pown is a man of many hats. He takes great interest in mentoring students and in aiding them
forge good career choices. Alongside his personal objectives and professional assignments, he also does
consulting work for firms, helping them design solutions for their IT infrastructure.
A testament to his expertise is the fact that he was called upon to tutor Sysadmins and DevOps staff to
manage a luxury star hotel chain in Maldives. He was consulted to setup its communication networks in
tandem with Ooredoo Networks, one of Maldives' top internet service providers with a pan-continental
presence. He also helped with assessing their information security policies and vulnerabilities to secure
their data channels.
There is a softer side to Pownraj as well - he loves to mentor students. For a balanced diet, Pownraj indulges in playing chess and some photography.

Akshay is a person who is passionate about technology. He loves to work with cloud based technologies. He has extensive knowledge on the AWS platform and its services. He has spent the last three years working with technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Java, Maven, Docker, CI/CD to name a few. During his free time, he studies other technologies that could possibly make life more easier at work. Working on multi-cloud platforms on a daily basis developing solutions for customer problem statements. Infrastructure as Code is the new trend for immutable infrastructure. Cloud and DevOps is his space and he trains others to enter that space and make a career out of it.
South Indian vegetarian food, filter coffee, music (especially AR Rahman's), family and Network Geek forms an integral part of his day. He is a footbal Fanatic too. Akshay connects with people almost instantly and his openness has provided him new friends wherever he goes.
